A Kent landmark, built one frame at a time.
Kent Bowl opened in 1958 and was shaped for decades by Jack "Zab" Zaborac and his family โ growing from 24 lanes to 32 and becoming a South Sound bowling destination known for serious competition and a warm welcome. In 2024 a new local family took the reins, carrying the same community spirit forward.
We're proud to be the opposite of a corporate chain: a real neighborhood bowling center where leagues, families, youth bowlers and our 50-plus-year adaptive bowling program all share the lanes.
More than a bowling alley
For over 50 years Kent Bowl has run a bowling program for people with disabilities, supported youth through junior leagues and scholarships, and given back to local charities. The lanes are open to everyone in Kent.
